First of all.
Sorry I didn't know your a girl.
Second,
In a sense, isn't a stereotype exactly what you are looking for, on account of no one (i can think of) in this forum is from Edinburgh and therefore unlikely to come to your club. (lol that sounded mean)
In my opinion, somewhere a kid can go on a Friday night to dance without having to worry about getting stabbed with a needle or a knife, and perhaps a place to play indoor soccer and basketball.
How far are you along in your degree btw?

it didn't sound mean... in fact its a pretty valid point. However my reasoning for it is that I have already conducted research into local young people and was able to draw conclusions from that research.
But the internet is an incredibly useful research tool, so I'm prepared to take advantage of that fact in order to gain some kind of insight into teenage culture on a global scale, similarities and differences.
I also just completed a dissertation on reconsidering the design of youth clubs... I kind of feel that they are rarely designed with the interests and needs of the young people using them at heart.
But anyway, I feel pretty passionate about the topic so I could rant on forever... lol
I'm in my fourth and final year of my degree :-)

Congrats on almost completing college!
I usually go to a friends place (watch TV and play games), talk with the guys at some random place or drink and be loud.
