Lol, but you don't know that XD You could have meant to be 5'8 or something but since you drank coffe since NINE (soooo young! XD) you're a few inches shorter. *shrugs* It's possible :s

And my family is very conservative and all, I drank tea since I was a baby. I had a hard time to sleep so my doctor told my mom to put tea in my bottle. Plain (eww) .

I don't think there is much wrong with coffee, just as long as it isn't like, three billion cups a day or something...

However, with energy drinks and stuff I think there is more of a problem, at least at my school and schools in the area... It seems to have become sort of a fashion to drink energy drinks, and also in copious amounts. I'm pretty sure it says, on the drinks, "not to be consumed by children" or something, and teenagers, being in such a critical state of growth... I'm guessing it doesn't exactly have a very positive affect... Although I don't really know.

I'm also a complete hypocrite because I love energy drinks and consume a lot more than I should ^^.

Most energy drinks are sold towards the needs of teens. With Exam's and stuff they try to turn their sales towards teens, who need it the most. I used to be addicted to energy drinks and I got really sick ( And gained alot of weight ) I drank like...3 a day and I'd never be able to sleep. Once it wore off It really sucked.

That's the thing... I'm not sure if this is factor not, but I read (or viewed) somewhere that on average, teenagers are sleeping less. Isn't it stereotypical teenage behaviour to sleep as much as possible? I'm just wondering if the amount of energy drinks consumed in a teen environment has anything to do with this...

A few of my friends complain about "insomnia". They are unable to sleep, but feel tired. So they consume a Red Bull or three to make them feel better... That doesn't make much sense to me... I'm kind of concerned, I guess.

At my school, people are having coffe all tht time. It's sad since they don't really need it. The drink coffe for one night, can't sleep, and need coffee to wake them up, and then their tired all day. Coffee doesn't give you energy, it just stops your sleep drive, and makes you even more tired.

Caffeine is a drug.. so it may not be that they want it but they need it.

i dont drink coffee, dont really like the taste . and i heard it stunts growth ? even if it's not true i dont wanna take my chances :O im short enough, 5'2 :[ soo ya ahah .
