Sorry, but I think anybody who is willingly to leave their lover over football is incapable of having a relationship that they are worthy of. I would like clarification on what you mean by leaving though. Do you mean leaving "for good"?

Leaving for good for a football is too intense and highly doubt that anyone would choose lover over love for football.
But hey maybe there's someone that crazy about football out there <_<

Yeah, I don't think people who love football would choose that over the one they love.
Although, I don't doubt that there's been arguements between couples about football or the amount of dedication on football.

I think his dedication to the games may cause arguments on how he don't pay much attention to her, and then they would break up
