Yeah, "open discussion" -- about the topic. The topic isn't "Do we care about this?". It's "Let's discuss this" -- if you don't want to, no one is forcing you to freaking reply. I know I don't reply to every thread.

Well DarkTruth didn't need to reply.
The way I see it is that there are only ever going to be 3 approaches to a topic as brilliant as this one.
1. I don't care
2. I do care
3. I don't have a clue what the hell this is.
In order for the discussion to be open and for us to "lets discuss this" wouldn't it only be fair to listen to the veiws of the people who don't care? Isnt that what an open discussion is all about? I don't reply to every thread, cheers.

We can't, because to be unpatriotic, I would have to hate my country, but I love Canada -- not a big fan of it's Harper government, but I love the land and am thus not unpatriotic.
