Default Are diet pills as dangerous as people say they are?

Because, I've heard they could cause liver failure and all, but some are approved for over the counter sale and all, so they can't be that bad.

Also, um, do you guys think there's age restrictions to getting them even if they are OTC?

aannnddd, any idea as to how much they usually cost?

They cost a lot and the ones that work are usually imported. If they are cheap they won't work.

Diet pills are an apitiet supressent (Spelling). Which means they stop the hunger pains make you feel fuller. They speed up your metabalism (Spelling) which enables your body to go longer with out food and burn of it's fat, pretty much anyway. Too many diet pills cause your heart to atrophy, atrophy occurs to athletes when they stop training, the heart becomes less stronger.

Diet pills speed up your heart rate, this means your body is pupping blood to your muscles faster, when it becomes to fast the body will only pump blood and oxygen to the vital organs and muscles therefore your hands and feet don't get any. Abusing diet pills can cause this.

I have more information but I am having a real bad time right now, I'll let you know tomorrow maybe. Sorry for the spelling.

Just... don't do diet pills. There is not a single valid reason why you would do such a thing.

Some diet pills work, but others are just full of crap that dont do anything.
The ones that work are usually the REALLY expensive one's.

listen to the little hippy she has the best info. but i go by the ELMM rule aka Eat Less Move More. instead of craving that junk food since its been proven that you eat when your bored drink a big glass of H2O or go for a walk. If you dont have time in your busy life just eat smaller portions and substitute the maccaroni salad for a small green salad. just eat a mango because that what i do xD i <3 mangos!

I love mangos too, but they're very high in calories. They're not worth 130 cals. At least not IMO.

IMO means in my opinion. And calories are calories, personally, they're all bad. But I guess I'm kind of biased when it comes to that.
