Too early to drop the Love bomb?

I think my girlfriend is great. We love everything about each other and we have so much in common. But I think that I dropped the love bomb too early on her; I told her that I love her on our 3rd week of dating. She said that she loves me back. One of my friends then told me that me and my girlfriend's relationship will never be the same. How?

Anywaayss, I don't think theres a minimun to when you can tell her you love her. You just say it when you feel it. Plluuss, you probably knew her before and idk about you but I love all my friends, and I tell them it.. (lol) even though its a diffrent kind of love you have for her you'll always have that friend love so I dont think theres a minimum number of months you have to date someone to tell them you love them... yeah.

It will be different now because you didn't wait, you didn't let the first couple of months run their course now everything you go through will be harder because you belive you love each other. You said it far to early you should of waited.

I'm sick of people treating love like its an everyday 'how are you?' really pisses me off! Love should be special.

You might think you love her.. probably don't every one goes through that.

Update: We have reached the 2 month minimum and our relationship has crescendoed into something really spectacular. A few days ago, we decided to go on a trip into the city and it only increased the love we had for each other. Recently, though, talks of marriage have popped up much more often. And, we are both absolutely certain that we were made for each other (:

Your relationship with your girlfriend will stay the same as it has always been; girls like knowing they are loved and most don't like to wait to hear it! I've been with my boyfriend for a little over 7 weeks and we dropped the bomb on day one.

Well congrats on it all, and for people who say it's bad to say it early it can be in many situations but it depends what type of girl/guy you're with :P, and then there's love and IN Love and you can feel those feeling after a short time even at a young age.

Anyways, Good for you, hope it all goes well for you's in the future.
