im an a soon to be apprentice auto electrician (mechanic) and i tell girls and there sorta decapointed about it  but i just say ill fix ur car for free and we laugh it off

I'm pretty much the same as you, grew up around my brothers and Dad a lot and know about cars loads (: my boyfriend doesn't know anything about cars and isn't really interested (he's more of sports fan ;D) but we're still together and happy as ever - so I suppose you just know what you know, and this guy will probably like you just because you're clever and know so much

I used to know a ton about cars
Me and my dad used to go to car shows and
stuff and I used to sit around and watch him work
on his car. But that's long over xD
I've shifted more into computers
and me and him geek out over that now xD

Well, I am generally annoyed by my friends who know so damn much about my cars, so I wouldn't mind if a gal knew absolutely nothing. But in the world of zen, each bit of knowledge is a plus.

its deff a plus
but just saying you can totally change break fluid from under the hood lol, how else are you sposed to bleed breaks when you change um :P
heres my car as an example lol
1 - brake fluid resavoir
2 - Transmition dip stick, where you put tranny fluid
3 - Engine dip stick ( oil obvs)
4 - antifreze for the rad
there are also resavoirs for power steering fluid, if you have it and also winshield wiper liquid tank as well like you said before
