The book shelf.
There wasn't one of these when I first joined here and this was one of the reasons I wanted to join a forum.
I'll start it's pretty simple really...
Instructions.
1. Just post a picure of a book either a book you have read or one your interested in.
2. State the book title and who wrote it clearly.
3. Write a small summery of the book kind of like a blurb from the back of it, you can probably even just use the blurb.
4. Write your own review kind of thing of the book say whether you enjoyed it.
5. Done, now everyone can comment and do their own, could also help people when buying new books and things, YES! I am a book worm. This might not work so just bare with me.
I'll go first, right.

Before I die by Jenny Downham
Tessa has suffered from cancer for a while, instead of moping about all day every day she decided she wants to make the most out of what little life she has left. She decides to make a list of all the things she wants to do before she dies, petty cime, sex, drugs and most importantly love.
This was the first book I read after the reading the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer several hundered times. I bought this book from amazon.co.uk after some on recomended it to me, I didn't expect it to be very good compared to my favourite vampire love story of all time. Non the less I thought I might as well just read it as its not science fiction at all and it might bring some of my sanity back. To my supprise I loved this book. Its not the best book I will ever read, but its a bloody good un! I found myself reduced to tears several times in this book as it is such a touching story. I would only recomend this to people who don't mind books with no happy endings. I also think this book is aimed towards hopeless romantics like myself. Before I die isnt really for people who enjoy happy books, it contains sexual language and other things along those lines. There was one stupid line in particular where Tessa and Zoey are both stoned that made me laugh.
Anyone who wants to read a short touching story that doesn't mind a bit of crying should deffo think about reading this book.

Lord Loss, By Darren Shan.
The first book of the Lord Loss Saga.
It starts off, in the Grady house. And grubbs is pulling a prank on his sister, and his parents go mad at him. Later tht day his sister, and parents are all weepy. Grubbs goes to stay with his aunt for a while, and watches his mum pull away from the driveway crying. He gets curious so goes home to see what happened. The house is a mess, cobwebs all over the walls, claw marks up and down the walls. He goes to a bedroom where he can hear noises, and as he enters, he sees 3 Demons, and his Mum, Dad & sister dead (No heads and stuff, Nasty).
Police think they were murdered by people, dont beleive him that demons did it. He goes to mental hospital for weeks. One of his uncles comes in, shows him a picture of the demon, and goes again. He eventually lives with his uncle, and discovers theyre all real, and that theres more to come.
He discovers his secret brother
THE END.
I like this book because the story line & characters make you want to read on. It has loads of creatures in it, magic, love, Death looooads more. So its got something for everyone.
Not really good at thinking why i like it :P
Could have been telling you about it for ages x]

Oh no, its totally fine. You can just do that. The blurb idea was just incase someone wanted to read it. I might have to invest in some of them books!
I'll do this since I bum it!
I'll quite happily do the rest, if no one minds?

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Isabella Swan is a 17-year old girl who decides to move to Forks, Washington with her dad to let her mother and Phil travel. She soon discovers a reason to stay in Forks and finds herself "unconditionally and irrevocably in love" with the wonderful, dreamy, hot, gorgeous, fantastic, brilliant, hunky, kind, dangerous, loving (Too much?) Edward Cullen. But what if Edwards not the hero? What if hes the bad guy? Bella finds her self in a tricky situation and puts her own life at risk to die in the place of someone she loves. Can Edward reach her in time before its too late?
I LOVE THIS BOOK SOOOOOOO MUCH! Out of the whole saga this is my least favourite book, but as it is the first its a wise place to start.
I love the irony and the mystery and how the story starts to get a little juicer. One of my favourite lines in this book is on page 13 when Bella says "I can do this I lied to myself feebly. No one was going to bite me." I found myself like every other female on the planet hooked on Edward Cullen... Yum, yum, yum! I started reading this book before the film came out. Maybe that's why I prefer the books to the film. I would say to anyone who enjoyed the film read the books! In this first book Edward and Bellas love is just blossoming and I found it less exciting than the other 3. I've read this book so many times and it never seems to get old. I recomend this book to anyone! Even boys, I know loads of lads who adore these books and would recomend them to other boys.
I became emotionally attached to the fictional characters and found my self waking up thinking about the Cullens, yes slightly odd, I agree! I found this book so hard to put down. I think I managed to read it first time round in just over a day and a half, maybe two days at a push. The second, third, fourth and so on times I read it I think I managed to finish it in a several hours. I think I am a little odd when it comes to this book as I found myself quoting lines to people on numerous occasions, Ahh what the heck!
One last thing, just read the bloody books!
